February 8 Playa del Coco, Costa Rica, too much construction, too many billboards


Nice trees but the	garbage and the muddy dark sand	made the place look dirty.

February 9 Playa Samara is perfect...


Through Santa Cruz	and Nicoya	to the warm waters of Samara.

February 10 The neighbouring beach, Playa Carillo is even nicer...


and more natural	than Samara.

February 11 We tried to go to Montezuma but the roads took us to Naranjo.


The cattle didn't want us to pass...	Even trucks couldn't get across...	So we stopped in Playa Naranjo.

February 12 From Playa Naranjo to Atenas. See map


Hilly,	and flat,	the trees are still the best.

February 13 Spent the day in Atenas with friends and watched the rainbow

February 14 Playa Azul, a dangerous neighbourhood?...

Montezuma is	much more touristic than Tambor...

The Internet is a long way from the hotel	we walk by the only barbed-wire house	and by the ever present garbage...
